Questions About Me
Professionally:
I am a Certified Professional in Training and Performance (CPTP) with 20+ years of experience in the life sciences/pharmaceuticals, IT, and education industries.
My expertise includes instructional design, eLearning development, curriculum/content development, SaaS, and teaching/training.
I am recognized for designing healthcare/pharmaceutical learning solutions to address compliance-related issues, reduce regulatory risk, and enhance knowledge proficiency for real-world compliance applications.
I lead with integrity and through a coaching style that fosters collaboration and motivates a growth and 'tech-forward' mindset for increased efficiency.
Personally: I have been married many years to my college sweetheart, and I am a mother to 3 young adults.
Professionally:
I am currently a Senior Instructional Designer at LHT Learning, which was recently acquired by Tier 1 Performance. Previously, I worked at Red Nucleus as an Instructional Designer in its training institute division (RNTI), designing on-demand GxP eLearning courses.
I design learning solutions for the life sciences, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and technology industries by collaborating with other instructional designers, medical writers, project managers, subject matter experts, graphic designers, editors, and strategists.
Personally: I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking/walking, biking, skiing, reading, and watching movies. I love the beach, but I prefer the mountains! I also enjoy listening to music, singing, and playing my flute in a small ensemble, singing in a community choir, and serving those in need in my community. I am known for being creative with Canva and Amazon Photos, designing cards, posters, photo books/calendars, and flyers!
Where am I going? What are my goals?
Professionally:
My goal is to continue specializing in healthcare/pharmaceutical compliance and in designing and developing learning solutions for the life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, but I am also open to other opportunities.
I invest in lifelong learning by taking professional development courses, exploring and experimenting with technologies and tools, and attending webinars, conferences, and reading literature to stay current with learning trends.
Personally: Life is short, and unlocking my heart to my personal passions is important, too. As a result, my goal is to improve my work-life balance, take more time to enjoy my family, engage in activities that I enjoy, and cherish the simple things in life.
